Nutritional Counseling

A vital component to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, an assessment is made which analyzes various health needs in regards to diet and exercise. A nutritional counselor helps the patient set achievable health goals and teaches various ways of maintaining these goals throughout their lifetime.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. This aims to enhance function, aids in the healing process, and promotes relaxation and well-being. Massage therapy works in conjunction with the Dr’s prescribed treatment plan

Physical Rehabilitative Therapy

Physical rehabilitative therapy is concerned with the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, pain syndromes, and other physical impairments or disabilities. The primary focus is to alleviate pain and to restore maximum physical function for the patient.

Orthotics

Orthotics is concerned with the design, fitting, and supervised use of devices that provide support or assist weak and abnormal joints.

Functional Movement Screens

Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screens (FMS) are ranking systems which are utilized to assess the most basic movement patterns (balance, mobility/flexibility, body awareness, core control) which helps to identify faulty patterns and aiding in pain relief and injury prevention.

FST is a table-based assisted stretching technique that works to release tight connective tissue, muscles and fascia through a series of movements. It can increase flexibility, reduce tightness, improve speed, strength and agility. It can minimize injuries during training and competition, relieve stress and live a more pain free and comfortable life!

Functional Range Conditioning® is a comprehensive joint training system based in scientific principals and research including mobility development, joint strength, and body control

Spinal and Postural Evaluations

Spinal and postural evaluations are complimentary and given to new patients. The spine has three natural curvatures, which can become exaggerated in one direction or the other. By correcting faulty posture, overall health and quality of life is also improved.
